Our interconnectedness with all of creation means our every thought, word, and action determines the direction of our universe. Peace or chaos? It is up to each of us.
Jackie Hudson, O.P.
Children deserve to learn nonviolence as a say of life, to have disarmed hearts and to live in a disarmed world. Therefore, the Gospel we live is haveing disarmed hearts and disarming our nation and the world.
Ardeth Platte, O.P.
Plowshares activists symbolically hammer swords into plowshares becasue we never want one child to ask, "why were you complicit?"...I don't fear going to prison. I don't fear loss of freedom to move about. I don't even fear death. The fear that fills me is not having lived hard enought, deep enough, and sweet enough with whatever gifts God has given me. Carol Gilbert, O.P.
(This calendar is worth ordering and using: inspiring stories and pictures, and an action handbook at the end.
